Dianne Witmer's Libby Love

Libby Love

I remember the day we picked you up from our local humane shelter.  All scared, with long matted hair and you were shaking.  We brought you into a loving and warm home.  Although you never did learn to play with toys and other animals, you did learn how to play with your biscuits.  We only had you four months before your beloved "Pappy" passed away.  I know you missed him so much and I know that you are with him now.

Libby, you gave me the chance to finally be a "Mommy" and love and care for you.  You were and still are the love of my life.  It broke our hearts to have to let you go to the Rainbow Bridge, but Dr. Stake said you wouldn't get better, and you certainly didn't deserve to suffer.  I still cry for you and miss you, but I know you are with Pappy and playing with other furbabies.  I know you don't want Mommy to cry, but she misses you so.  We have our Christmas tree up and I put your collar on the tree next to your picture.

My baby girl, you can now run and play and be healthy again and visit your Pappy.  Know that one day, we will be together and never be separated again.

If Love Could Have Saved You, You Would Have Lived Forever!!!!!!!

I miss and love my little sweet girl!!!!!!

"Remember me with smiles and laughter,
For that's how I'll remember you all,
And if you can only remember me with tears
Than don't remember me at all"
